We host a variety of special events and socials throughout the year and invite you and your friends to join us! Our socials are open to everyone! No pre registration or partner necessary!

Please note that we accept cash only at the door for socials. Let us know in advance if you plan to attend with a large group.

50's Dance

Sunday, June 3rd - Penny loafers, Buddy Holly, shades and Saddle shoes were all the rage; Poodle skirts, and scarves in your hair. Make the scene, you gotta be there! Join us for our "Back to the 50's Dance". A lesson will start at 3:00pm, followed by social dancing from 4:00pm until 7:30pm. The Medal Ball

Sunday, June 10th - The Medal system provides consistent goals for our students, giving them a specific plan for their progress through bronze, silver and gold medal material. After a series of private lessons and practice sessions, students must pass an examination by an certified instructor before they can proceed to the next level. Students who pass Medal tests know that they have achieved an objective, national standard of expertise that will help them to achieve mastery in leading, following and styling.

So please join us to celebrate the hard-earned achievements of our students! A brief performance by each student will be followed by an Awards Presentation, Dinner and Social Dancing. Tickets: $50.00 per person purchased in advance.     Call 973-328-7979 for reservations!

Friday Practice Social   8:00–10:00pm

Join us on Fridays for our open practice socials! No partner or pre–registration necessary! Dancers of all levels can join us for Ballroom and Latin social dancing.

A Beginner Lesson is also offered at 8pm and is designed for first-time newcomers who are not enrolled at Nash Dancenter.

Cost for the lesson and practice social is $10 cash per person at the door – no reservations or partner necessary!

Saturday Night Workshop & Social   6:30–11:00pm

Please check our calendar for scheduled Saturday activities. We host various events on Saturday nights including Special Workshops and Socials with Brian Nash, Latin/Salsa Night, Hustle Night, etc.

Workshops/Socials cost $20 cash only per person at the door – no reservations or partner necessary!

Sunday Afternoon Special Events

Wednesday Afternoon Luncheon Dance   Noon–3:00pm

Join the friendly crowd at our Lunch/Dance for social Ballroom and Latin dancing, a buffet lunch and complimentary lesson!
